鈥淲e had a challenging weekend with clutch issues and various electronic gremlins. Thankfully, Pirelli tyres were definitely the tyres to be on, and we made up for the bike issues by having amazing tyres under us.

鈥淚 am really happy our team has backed up our 2022 double Championship by again winning both premier National Championships with AMA/WERA in 2023. We traveled all over the Country to win these championships and having a supportive wife/children made it much easier and definitely more enjoyable.

鈥淲e also won our class in the National Endurance Championship and remain unbeaten in 2023 with a big help from my teammate, Jason Waters. We feel like we brought some excitement to the N2/WERA Endurance Championship and had a blast doing it.”

鈥淪ince my mid-summer update, our team has continued having an epic season and we are well-positioned to take back-to-back National AMA/WERA championships for 2023.

鈥淚t has been a busy four months 鈥� we first travelled up to Road Atlanta and won five races. Next was the CMP Circuit in Carolina where we also won. Then it was up to Mid-Ohio to take four podiums in four races. This was a new track for us so plenty of work but also great fun and tens of thousands of spectators, which made it exciting. Finally, we just got back from Pittsburgh from another National and Endurance Race and won our Endurance Class and I took a very important podium along with a top-five finish to gain valuable championship points.”

鈥淲e are currently leading all three National Championships and keep racking up the wins, podiums, and championship points. The season is going great!

鈥淲e will be at Road Atlanta this coming weekend for a smaller event and then off to Virginia in September for the Summit Point Nationals and Endurance Championship. We then have a private test and finish the USA Season in October at Barber in Alabama for the Grand National, where we hope to be crowned National Champion across multiple classes including the prestigious Superbike Class.听

鈥淧erfect weather and a massive turnout for the annual WERA Cycle Jam at Road Atlanta saw Dan Kruger convert a pole position into five wins throughout the weekend.

鈥淒an had to settle for a 2^nd in the second Superbike National race on Sunday as he gave up the lead on Lap 2 to a hard-charging Taylor Knapp. Dan also teamed up with Moto America regular, Jason Waters, to win the 4-Hour Relay Endurance race earlier on in the weekend and the duo managed more laps than all other classes entered.”

鈥淒an now has a commanding lead in both the AMA/WERA National Superbike Championship as well as the National Superstock Championship as he aims to take back-to-back titles.

鈥淭he weekend was not without incidents, with heavy winds, a massive air fence fire, and multiple red flags throughout the weekend.

鈥淲e had already tested at Road Atlanta last month, so the bikes were basically set up from the get-go. We had so much fun doing the endurance race and want to thank N2 and WERA for putting on a great event.

鈥淣ext stop for the Canadian will be at Carolina Motorsport Park for Round 2 of the Endurance Championship and some more WERA racing. 鈥淲e came, we conquered, and we left. A couple of close races but I had full control over the weekend and a strong race pace and also took pole position on both days and led all practice sessions.

鈥淚 am really pleased how my crew chief and I worked together to set up the race bike, selected the correct compound tires, and did what was needed to sweep the weekend. We had some sketchy weather in one race and thought about pulling off after the warm-up lap but fortunately decided to stay out and race. Looking back, I am pleased with our performance.”

鈥淥n Saturday, we had a clutch issue and pulled in after the first lap.听We also had an engine let go during the Friday practice, so the weekend was not without its challenges.听We now have a lot of work ahead of us as we prepare for the double-header at Road Atlanta in a few weeks鈥� time. There will be a lot of points up for grabs and our team will do what we can to take as many of them as possible as we head into this round leading the AMA/WERA National Superbike Championship.

鈥淚 managed a 3^rd聽overall in the first National for 2023.听

鈥淚t was a crash fest, and there were a few sketchy incidents throughout the weekend. The entire weekend was challenging but we managed to walk away with four podiums on Saturday for the Regional Races and more importantly, 3^rd聽on Sunday in the National PRO Superbike Race.听

鈥淭hat puts us in good shape for the season as I fully plan to repeat 2022 and be the AMA/WERA Superbike Champion for 2023.听Along the way, I will end up with a bunch of Regional Championships as well.

鈥淎fter 25 podiums and a full championship season behind them, the only thing that could stop the team was their trusted 91传媒!聽The Nature Power Kawasaki Superbike team took the WERA National Championship in both Superbike and Superstock classes. They also won numerous regional championships and a Grand National championship.听
