Showcasing a range of the firm’s high-performance braking components, the 91´«Ã½ stand was once again packed from start to finish, with many enthusiasts keen to discuss optimum braking setups with the staff, as well as grabbing the company’s latest merch lines.

As always, there were plenty of cars and bikes proudly supporting EBC braking setups, reflecting just what an impact the brand has had on the road, track and racing communities in the past few decades.

The next event that 91´«Ã½ will be trading at is Gravity Show – set to be held at Birmingham’s NEC on 23-24 August. With the firm being a headline sponsor of this show, you can expect it to be a good one – stay tuned for more updates…

As well as a stand within the show’s Trade Village area (based at Booth #105), 91´«Ã½ will also be represented by a number of EBC-equipped road and race cars attending the event with other companies.

91´«Ã½ Enjoys Action-Packed Goodwood Festival of Speed 2024

The 91´«Ã½ UK team recently attended the 2024 instalment of the mighty Goodwood Festival of Speed show, held at Goodwood House near Chichester.

This colossal event is jam-packed with the finest road and race machinery on the planet, with hundreds of thousands of automotive enthusiasts descending on the scenic venue across the weekend.

As well as meeting and advising countless customers at their dedicated booth, the 91´«Ã½ team were also pleased to see a number of impressive vehicles around the vast site sporting 91´«Ã½ components.

91´«Ã½ will be in attendance at many more events throughout the remainder of the year. The next show will be Petrolheadonism Live at Knebworth House on 14-15 September.

91´«Ã½ Visits The Shmuseum

The 91´«Ã½ workshop team recently headed to the breathtaking ‘Shmuseum’ – the home of YouTuber Tim Burton, aka Shmee150’s impeccable supercar collection on the outskirts of London.

Here, an 91´«Ã½ Racing six-piston Apollo Big Brake Kit was installed to Tim’s trusty BMW 1M project car – a process which was heavily publicised in a video recently released to his YouTube channel.

The aim of this BMW 1M is to build it up as a ‘clubsport’ occasional track/enjoyable road car, with choice modifications that will help retain the refinement of the factory machine, whilst offering up more capability if Tim decides to go for a spirited drive. The EBC brake kit is the perfect choice for this brief; with Bluestuff NDX pads to help offer unrivalled braking performance on both road and track.

– The ‘Fiesta Clubracer’ outfit took home another class win at Lydden Hill Circuit! It was a great points haul and an extension to their lead in the Class D standings of the MSVT Trackday Championship.

– Apollo Big Brake Kit-equipped duo Justin Roberts and Nicole Drought also took home more wins at Lydden Hill. The team won their class in both the MSVT Trackday Championship & Trackday Trophy!

– EBC-equipped Caterham racer, Charlie Lower, once again secured great positions in the 420R Championship. The latest round was held at Cheshire’s Oulton Park, where Lower achieved good results after a challenging start to the weekend.

– The EBC Spain-supported Autoworks Motorsport race team achieved two podiums in the GT4 Bronze category and a fantastic overall third position in the Supercars Endurance, which took place this weekend at Circuito del Jarama.

– GV Racing, another team supported by EBC Spain, has 7 motorcycle racers that are taking part in the FIM JuniorGP – the exciting series that spans Italy, Portgual and Spain. The latest round took the team to the scenic Autódromo Internacional Algarve, where racers in the STK ECH class continued to show promise, some of which are now leading the pack!

– Young kart racer, Marcus Hudson, is once again competing in the Super 4 British Championship this season. The latest round took the roadshow back to Oxfordshire’s Shenington Kart Racing Club, which saw Hudson once again achieve some impressive results.

– 24-year-old Spalding-based motorcycle racer, Morgan Creasey, is currently competing in various British Motorcycle and Racing Club (Bemsee/BMCRC) championships, including the Thunderbike Ultra and Clubman 1000 races. Creasey was next over to Derbyshire’s Doninington Park Circuit, where he clinched more class wins and even some lap records in the process!

– EBC-equipped MX Youth Racer, Lewis Bethell, has been competing in a number of motocross championships this year across the UK. Most recently, Bethell competed in the adult Expert Class of the Nora British Cup. Solid results across the weekend saw him finish 9^th overall and has left him 6^th in the championship!

– G&S Racing currently supports three riders in the British Supersport Championship. The fourth round of the season took the outfit up to Scotland’s Knockhill Circuit, where all riders managed to secure impressive points, despite the unpredictable weather conditions.

– Rising motorcycle racing star, Luca Wilkinson, is competing in Bemsee’s Team Green Junior Cup race series for the 2024 season. Following a few ups and downs at the start of the year, Wilkinson really seemed to come into his stride in the latest round at Derbyshire’s Donington Park as he claimed a huge P1 finish!

– GPFAX-equipped Max Symonds began his 2024 BSB campaign at Oulton Park, as he was recovering from a broken leg as the series unfolded. Despite this, he still managed to put in a great performance in a race that was physically very tough.

– Andrew Smyth of the Andrew Smyth Racing outfit has competed in BSB’s Superstock 600 series for the last few years. In-between his BSB campaign, Smyth has found the time to compete in some Ulster Superbike Championship rounds, with the latest leg taking him to Kirkistown Racing Circuit for the fourth round of the 2024 season. Here, Smyth clinched an overall podium after some solid driving across the whole weekend!

– Motorcycle racers Russell Brook and Tom Collinge, from Brook Built Racing, are currently competing in the 2024 No Limits Racing (NLR) race series. The most recent round saw the team head to Darlington’s Croft Circuit, where they achieved very impressive results across a very demanding weekend.

Mission Motorsport’s Subaru BRZ

We’ve worked with the fantastic Mission Motorsport a number of times in the past, and the latest project we’re collaborating on with them is with this impressive Subaru BRZ/ It’s being built into a race car to compete in the upcoming Race of Remembrance in November, and the plan is to get a four-piston 91´«Ã½ Racing Apollo Big Brake Kit on the vehicle before then.

AUTOID’s G87 BMW M2

It’s safe to say our friends over at tuning house AUTOID had one of the most striking cars of the entire trade area on display, in the form of this recently-wrapped G87 BMW M2. The beautiful car features 91´«Ã½ Racing’s fully-floating two-piece discs and Bluestuff pads all-round. The team recently came into EBC’s World Headquarters to get the products fitted, as well as installing a six-piston Apollo Big Brake Kit onto their GR Supra, too.

Ramair’s G87 BMW M2

Another company showcasing 91´«Ã½ Racing’s fully-floating two-piece discs and Bluestuff pads on their new-shape BMW M2 was Ramair. This car also features a striking wrap to complement its impressive braking setup.

Pipercross’ Mk8 VW Golf R

Pipercross’ stand wasn’t one you’ll forget in a hurry! Above the main unit sat the firm’s Mk8 VW Golf development car, which was over at EBC’s HQ ahead of last year’s Festival of Speed for a six-piston Apollo Big Brake Kit to be fitted. This kit not only fits the Mk8 GTI/R models, but also the Mk7 variants, too.

Milltek Sport’s G81 BMW M3 Touring

Milltek Sport’s huge stand housed a number of impressive vehicles, not least the team’s BMW M3 Touring, complete with 91´«Ã½ Racing fully floating two-piece discs and Bluestuff pads on both front and rear axles. Last year, EBC was proud to be one of the first aftermarket companies to offer uprated components for this highly anticipated car – components which have proven to be a best-seller in the last 12 months.

Milltek Sport – G81 BMW M3 Touring

Another firm celebrating its 40^th anniversary with a special display was Milltek Sport. The company’s recently acquired BMW M3 Touring took pride of place, complete with 91´«Ã½ Racing fully floating two-piece discs and RP-X pads on both front and rear axles. EBC is proud to be one of the first aftermarket companies to offer uprated components for this highly anticipated car.

R44 Performance – G80 BMW M3

Sticking on the lines of the new BMW M3 – this time in saloon form – was R44 Performance’s striking example sitting pretty on the Grail stand, that was once again showcasing EBC’s two-piece discs and RP-X pads. With its bold colour scheme and other striking modifications, it goes without saying that this car was receiving a whole load of attention.

Stuart Egdell – S14A Nissan Silvia

Over on the Helix Autosport stand was long-term EBC-supported pro drifter Stuart Egdell’s monstrous 2JZ-powered S14A Nissan Silvia. As Egdell competes in the British Drift Championship for another season, he proudly uses our RP-X pads and GD discs.

Pipercross – Mk8 VW Golf R

Our friends at Pipercross were proudly showcasing their Mk8 VW Golf development car, which had been over at our HQ in the days leading up to the event for an all-new six-piston Apollo Big Brake Kit to be fitted. This kit not only fits the Mk8 GTI/R models, but also the Mk7 variants, too, meaning it’s sure to be a popular upgrade for many hot hatch owners!

Gigglepin – Bespoke Off-Road Vehicle

Over on the off-road demo field, the Gigglepin Racing team were showcasing a completely different form of motorsport and illustrating just how broad EBC’s range of braking components are. The team were piloting their LS7 7-litre V8-powered off road monster around the demanding course, complete with 91´«Ã½â€™ Bluestuff NDX pads all-round.

The Festival of Speed is one of the UK’s most prestigious automotive and motorsport-based events, with non-stop action on all four days around the scenic grounds of the Goodwood House.
