Max Symonds uses 91传媒 Racing鈥檚 GPFAX pads and X-Series floating discs

Wiltshire-based motorcycle racer, Max Symonds has been competing in the British Superbike Championship鈥檚 National Superstock category for a number of years.

The rider, who also聽won Castle Combe Circuit鈥檚 NG Road Racing 鈥楰ing of Combe鈥 race in 2025, switched from his Yamaha R1 to a Honda CBR 1000RR Fireblade last year, continuing to use this bike and its 91传媒 Racing鈥檚 GPFAX pads and X-Series floating discs setup for the 2026 season.

Following some聽extensive testing at the start of the year across Europe and an NG Road Racing outing at Brands Hatch earlier in the year, we next caught up with Symonds after a stint of testing and another NG Road Racing weekend across April.

Read how the month panned out in his own words below鈥

Snetterton Test Day

鈥淲e started the month with a test day at Snetterton 鈥 my first laps of the circuit on the Fireblade. The main aim was to establish a solid base setting on the bike and get back up to speed around the track having not raced here last year.

鈥淪trict noise limits on the day, combined with some changeable weather, meant we didn’t get as much time on track as we’d have liked. However, as the conditions improved towards the end of the afternoon we managed to put some good laps together and came away with a good setting for the race event back here later in the year.鈥

Cadwell Park 鈥 NG Road Racing Round 2

鈥淎fter taking four wins and setting a new lap record at round one, we decided to enter the second event of the NG Road Racing Season at Cadwell Park.

鈥淪aturday was a solid start, qualifying second in both the Powerbike and Open classes and taking a pair of second-place finishes in the races. Overnight, we made some changes to the bike set-up and I worked on a few adjustments to my riding style. This made big improvements for Sunday as we went on to take two wins after some really close races and fast, consistent lap times.鈥

Oulton Park 鈥 BSB Pre-Season Test

鈥淥ur first official BSB event of the year. Two full days on track gave us the chance to run through a wide range of set-up options and really get the bike working the way we want it to.

鈥淚 was happy to put in a new personal best lap time and to be lapping with pretty consistent pace throughout. The test was a lot of hard work with a total of 90 laps logged over the two days which was all worth it as the bike is starting to feel exactly how I want it and we left Oulton Park with a big smile on our faces.鈥

Donington Park 鈥 Test Day

鈥淗aving missed the official BSB test there earlier in the month, it was important to get some laps in round here ahead of the race later in the season.

鈥淐old temperatures and high winds made the morning session tricky, but as the weather improved through the afternoon I was able to put in some strong lap times. We finished the day happy with the progress made and confident going into the start of the BSB season.鈥

Max Symonds uses 91传媒 Racing鈥檚 GPFAX pads and X-Series floating discs

Wiltshire-based motorcycle racer, Max Symonds has been competing in the British Superbike Championship鈥檚 National Superstock category for a number of years.

Following some extensive testing at the start of the year across Europe, we next caught up with Symonds after his first race of the year 鈥 an NG Road Racing outing at Brands Hatch 鈥 ahead of his BSB season start.

Here, Symonds dominated in the Powerbike and Open classes, as you can read below in his team鈥檚 own words鈥

鈥淪ymonds Racing enjoyed a highly successful outing at the NG Road Racing season opener at Brands Hatch, delivering a dominant performance across both the Powerbike and Open classes.

鈥淢ax qualified on pole position in both categories, went on to win all four races he entered, and broke both class lap records including setting a new outright NG lap record at Brands Hatch Indy in the process,鈥 his team explains.

鈥淲ith the British Superbike season still a few weeks away, we decided to enter round one of the NG Road Racing championship to gain valuable track time.

鈥淔riday鈥檚 test day was especially useful, with lots of track sessions allowing us to test new rear suspension components and a find a good direction for the season ahead.

鈥淪aturday started with qualifying sessions for both classes, where I was able to put the bike on pole in each with some strong laps.

鈥淯nfortunately, due to some work that needed doing on the bike between sessions, we decided to sit out the first Open race to make sure everything was 100% ready. With no championship points on the line, it made sense not to take any unnecessary risks.

鈥淚 got back out in the first Powerbike race and managed to take a lights to flag victory, setting a new lap record of 47.2 seconds along the way.”

鈥淪unday morning鈥檚 second Open race was a bit more of a challenge, starting from the back of the grid after missing Saturday鈥檚 race. This meant a pretty hectic start to the race as I worked my way through from 34th to the lead by lap eight. Once I hit the front I was then able to pull out a gap and take the win by a couple of seconds.

鈥淪tarting from pole again in the next Powerbike race, I made the most of the clear track ahead and really pushed on putting together a strong run of laps under my previous best. By lap 5 I had set a new lap record of 46.7 seconds 鈥 half a second quicker than the day before.

鈥淚n the final Open race of the weekend, I had a bit of a moment coming out of turn one, but was able to regroup and control the race from the front to take another win, along with a new class lap record of 47.0 seconds.

鈥淗aving achieved everything we wanted from the weekend, we decided to sit out the final Powerbike race, saving tyres and ending the weekend on a high.

鈥淥verall, the weekend couldn鈥檛 have gone better, we made lots of progress with the bike set-up and came away with a load of wins and laps records!鈥

Rob Lewis entrusts EBC braking components in his Ford Focus ST170

For the 2025 season, Rob Lewis once again competed in the Modified Ford Series in his Mk1 Ford Focus ST170 (Class B).

Lewis has successfully campaigned within this championship for some years now, entrusting 91传媒 Racing鈥檚 RP-X鈩 motorsport brake pads for the front axle of his race car, and 91传媒鈥 Bluestuff NDX pads on the rear axle throughout this time.

After catching up with Lewis after the first few rounds of the year, where car and driver had both been performing well and secured some class podiums, we next caught up with Rob after the final rounds of the season at Cadwell Park and Brands Hatch, where more podiums were clinched.

You can read how these two weekends panned out for Rob in his own words below鈥

Cadwell Park

鈥淚 arrived at Cadwell Park with a nervous energy; I had never set a tyre on the circuit before in any form, so it was always a case of learning and getting better. We also debuted a new greener look to the car to change it up slightly 鈥撀爄t certainly was more noticeable!

鈥淨ualifying saw some beautiful track conditions and, as I heading out, I felt at home almost instantly. Getting quicker, I managed to sneak in the top 15 overall and 5th in my class, the car itself felt superb and the stopping power of the RP-X鈩 pads meant I had the confidence into the harder hairpin turns around the mountain. Game on!”

鈥淩ace 1: a good start on a tight grid meant the first few laps were a case of trying to find room to get into a flow and progress up the field. After the field had spread itself out more, the lap times quickly came tumbling down and I shaved a whopping two seconds off my qualifying time. The class podium was a realistic target and after dispatching the Mk1 Escort of Gary Johnson, I got my head down and worked on holding 3rd in class and a bank of points involved鈥 My only problem was the turbo Puma catching me that wanted the same podium spot! Lap after lap of defensive driving in my most vulnerable areas and utilising my superior braking performance meant when the flag came it was a podium for me once again! 3rd in Class and 11th overall on my first race EVER at Cadwell Park.听

鈥淩ace 2: after a driveshaft change overnight (a weak point on this setup this year) I started race 2 with even more confidence and quickly moved inside the top 10 and 2nd in class, Hot on the heels of Chris Baker, I got past on lap 3 and got my head down aiming for a class win into the 1:40.1 lap time. Then, it all came tumbling down: as I rode the kerb over Chris Curve, it ripped the boost pipe off and that was the race done. Gutted! We go again鈥︹

Brands Hatch

鈥淏rands Hatch is always the highlight meeting for the year in the Modified Fords series, with crowds of 15,000 celebrating all things 鈥榖lue oval鈥 as part of the Ford Power Live show. A grid walk allowed people to get close to the race cars and I had a lot of interest in my car in particular. Testing went okay but by the time we went out for qualifying, I knew the car was getting tired from a hard season鈥檚 racing: a failed connector pin had made sure I didn鈥檛 get a lap in qualifying which was really frustrating. Starting from the back of the grid, I made up a lot of spaces and was quickly battling my class competitors for the podium once again. Iain Blackley鈥檚 Puma was in 3rd and as he made a mistake coming out of McLaren, I looked to capitalise… Just as cylinder 4 dropped. Coil failure. Once again, a great result slipped through due to mechanical issue.”

鈥淭hen came race 2. Once again starting from the rear of the grid, I made my way through the field and onto the rear of Ian Blackley鈥檚 Puma once more. The handling characteristics of the cars are the same, but I found once again that under brakes, I had a significant advantage. The only problem with all of this was that Ian was driving a consummate defensive race. My final chance came on the last lap of the race. Using the superior braking advantage, I hung around the outside of the Puma at Druids and got the inside line for Graham Hill Bend… Podium once again! And retribution for a difficult start to the weekend.鈥

G&S Racing is supporting two riders in the British Supersport Championship

For the 2025 season, the G&S Racing Kawasaki motorcycle race team competed in the BSB鈥檚 British Supersport Championship with two riders: TJ Toms and Jorel Boerboom.

The duo continues to entrust 91传媒 Racing鈥檚 GPFAX track/race brake pads and X-Series floating discs on their Kawasaki race bikes 鈥 a formula that has helped them secure solid points in previous years.

Following a successful penultimate round at Oulton Park, the team finished off the season in style at Kent鈥檚 Brands Hatch,

Read how it all panned out in their own words below鈥

鈥淲hat a way to end the season! G&S Racing Kawasaki riders TJ Toms and Jorel Boerboom completed both races and celebrated the final race with both riders in the points 鈥撀燭J within the top four.

鈥淎fter qualifying in 13th place for the short Sprint race on Saturday, TJ Toms started the 12-lap race from the fourth row and as the lights went out he immediately moved up to 11th on the opening lap. He tucked in behind Carter Brown and followed him through the majority of the race before making a move on the penultimate lap to snatch 10th place. He held his line through the final lap to take 10th at the flag and pick up sufficient points to leapfrog Dean Harrison in the rider standings to eighth position.听

鈥淭here was a dramatic change in the weather for Sunday鈥檚 season finale with rain falling making the track wet and slippery. Full wets was the order of the day, with TJ lining up in the middle of the fourth row. With crashes to riders ahead of him, the safety car was brought out a couple of times during the race which allowed TJ to remain in touch with the leading group and he circulated in 10th position through the first half of the 15-lap race.

“He then began to make his way forward and was in fifth place going into the final lap. Not satisfied with that he made a concerted effort and passed Lee Johnston on the final lap to take a well-deserved fourth place to end the season in a solid eighth place in the rider standings.”

鈥淢eanwhile, Jorel Boerboom came through first qualifying but gave himself a lot of work to do in the Sprint race after completing final qualifying down in 26th place. But he got his head down and made up a place to 25th on the first lap. He was embroiled in a five-rider battle for position and was able to pick off riders through the rest of the 12 laps to cross the finish line in 21st position.听

鈥淪tarting the final race from the eighth row, it was always going to be a struggle to get up into a point-scoring position, but Boerboom was determined to end his season on a high note and worked his way through the midfielders to latch onto the back of the group fighting for 11th place. He picked them off one by one until he got to the front of the group. With the next rider too far ahead to catch, Boerboom took the chequered flag for his best result of the season in 11th place to pick up 10 championship points.”

Team Manager, Tom Fisher: 鈥淭hat was a great result in the final race for both riders. TJ rode well in the first race to 10th and was amazing in the wet final race with fourth. He rode the wheels of the Kawasaki to get up into the top five and thoroughly deserved the fourth-place finish.

鈥淛orel also rode well. He started from way back on row eight and fought his way up to 11th. What a great way to finish his season. I have to thank the whole team for their hard work over this weekend and also our sponsors who have stuck with us throughout the years. This has been our best season by far and we couldn’t have done this without their input. Also thanks go to our supporters, many of whom have been at the track to cheer us on.鈥

Morgan Creasey uses EBC鈥檚 GPFAX pads and X-Series floating discs

Spalding-based motorcycle racer, Morgan Creasey, is currently competing BSB鈥檚 Pirelli Superstock Championship on his Honda CBR 1000 RR-R superbike.

Creasey鈥檚 motorcycle is fitted with 91传媒 Racing鈥檚 GPFAX motorsport brake pads and X-Series floating brake discs for this year鈥檚 campaigns.

Following a successful stint at Kent鈥檚 Brands Hatch, Creasey next found himself at the high-speed Thruxton, where plenty of thrills and spills eventually resulted in more good results for the team.

Read how the weekend panned out in Morgan鈥檚 own words below鈥

Having never ridden Thruxton before, I knew it would be a challenge to quickly learn the track and get up to speed, but I was excited for it. Unfortunately, I made the weekend even more difficult for myself by breaking my foot at work less than a week before. Thankfully, I managed to get the swelling under control, and by the time free practice rolled around on Friday, I was ready to ride.鈥

Friday 鈥 FP1

鈥淭his session was all about learning the track and finding my rhythm. I focused on understanding the lines, braking markers, and flow of Thruxton rather than chasing outright pace. By the end of the session, I managed to put in a respectable lap of 1:21.312, giving me a solid foundation to build on.鈥

Friday 鈥 FP2

鈥淲ith the track feeling more familiar, I pushed harder and concentrated on improving corner speed and braking points. The changes paid off, and I reduced my lap time to 1:20.169, heading into Saturday with growing confidence.鈥

Saturday 鈥 Qualifying

鈥淚 started the session on a scrubbed rear tyre for the first four laps, knowing how tough Thruxton is on tyres. After that, I came in for a fresh rear and went back out to push for a faster lap. Unfortunately, a quick shifter failure cut the session short, stopping me from pushing as hard as I鈥檇 have liked. I qualified P31 with a best lap of 1:20.253.

鈥淗uge thanks to聽Alan Jackson, who stepped in after qualifying to check the bike. He managed to reset a fault that I thought might end my weekend, getting me back out for Race 1 that afternoon.鈥

Race 1

鈥淪tarting 31st, I got a great launch and made up positions by going around the outside into the first corner. I settled into a strong rhythm, making good overtakes to climb to P22. Unfortunately, a last-corner challenge didn鈥檛 go my way, four bikes into one chicane was never going to work. To avoid a collision, I took to the escape road, cutting the corner. As it was the final lap, I couldn鈥檛 give the place back, and a two-second penalty dropped me to P26. My best lap was a 1:20.146.鈥

Sunday 鈥 Race 2

鈥淪tarting 30th put me on the inside for Lap 1, so I couldn鈥檛 take advantage of the start like I did in Race 1. Another hot day made tyre choice important, and with budget limits I fitted a fresh rear but had to run a scrubbed front. Not ideal for 15 laps around Thruxton.

鈥淚 ran a solid race and made my way to P24. On Lap 13, I faced a near-identical situation at the chicane as in Race 1, cutting the course to avoid a collision. This time I conceded a place to avoid a penalty, but despite that, I was still handed a two-second penalty, dropping me to P29. My best lap was a 1:19.248.

鈥淒espite the setbacks, I鈥檓 pleased with the progress made over the weekend, especially lowering my lap times and improving my pace on a track I鈥檇 never ridden before. A big thanks to聽Ray聽for the fitness plan I鈥檝e begun. I鈥檒l be sticking to it to improve my strength and endurance for Round 7 at Cadwell.

鈥淭hank you to everyone who came to support me trackside, and to all my聽2025 sponsors聽for your support this season. On to Cadwell!鈥

We catch up with Creasey mid-season, fresh off the back of his Brands Hatch GP round in this competitive series.

Read how the weekend panned out in Morgan鈥檚 own words below鈥

鈥淎fter struggling with severe arm pump throughout the first part of the season, I made the decision to undergo surgery, which unfortunately meant missing Round 4 at Knockhill. The recovery time was worth it 鈥 this weekend was my first race back and I鈥檓 pleased to say the arm felt great, with no issues at all.

鈥淏rands Hatch was also a big step for me as it was my first time riding the full GP circuit, having only ridden the Indy layout previously. Learning the longer, more technical sections added an extra challenge, but I was excited to take it on.鈥

Friday 鈥 Free Practice

FP1 鈥 P34/42 | 1:32.981

鈥淒ry and warm conditions gave me a good chance to get reacquainted with the bike and begin learning the GP layout. The main goals were to shake off the rust and see how the arm held up. It felt great to be back out, and we made some minor setup tweaks, focusing on braking stability and front-end feel.鈥

FP2 鈥 P32/40 | 1:31.859

鈥淭he afternoon session was spent continuing to learn the track and push my pace. I took a second off my lap time from FP1 and gained a better understanding of the circuit flow. After the session, I contacted TW Suspension, and with their advice we made a small suspension change to help improve feel ahead of qualifying.鈥

Saturday 鈥 Qualifying & Race 1

Qualifying 鈥 P26/40 | 1:30.039

鈥淭he suspension changes made a big difference. I felt more confident through the faster sections and was able to push harder than I have all season. I set a new personal best and secured 26th on the grid, which was higher than I expected, especially at a circuit that鈥檚 typically been a tough one for me.鈥

Race 1 鈥 Started 26th, Finished 25th

鈥淕ot a decent start and settled into a solid rhythm, having some great battles throughout the race. Towards the end, my fitness started to drop off, which affected my pace. Still, this was the first race all season where I鈥檝e been able to push the whole distance, so that in itself was a big step forward. Brought it home in 25th and learned a lot in the process.鈥

Sunday 鈥 Race 2

Race 2 鈥 Started 26th, Finished 24th

鈥淚 got a strong start, moving up to 21st early on and spent most of the race running in P22. I was feeling more confident in race conditions and pushing harder throughout. Unfortunately, as the race wore on, fitness once again became a limiting factor, and a late-race mistake 鈥 nearly resulting in a high-side 鈥 cost me a few places. I managed to regroup and brought the bike home in 24th, glad to have kept it upright and finished another full-distance race.鈥

The EBC-equipped team is supporting two riders in the British Supersport Championship

The G&S Racing Kawasaki motorcycle race team is now mid-way through another season of BSB鈥檚 British Supersport Championship with two riders: TJ Toms and Jorel Boerboom.

The team continues to use 91传媒 Racing鈥檚 GPFAX track/race brake pads and X-Series floating discs on their Kawasaki race bikes 鈥 a formula that has helped them secure solid points in previous years.

With impressive rides and solid results achieved for both riders at Donington Park, the roadshow next headed to Norfolk鈥檚 Snetterton Circuit for the latest round. Hear how it panned out below in the team鈥檚 own words鈥

鈥淭he two G&S Racing Kawasaki riders 鈥 TJ Toms and Jorel Boerboom 鈥 were at Snetterton in Norfolk for a round of the 2025 British Supersport championship, where they both suffered a non-finish in the Sprint race but then went on to take the chequered flag in a strong position in the longer Feature Race on Sunday.

鈥淭J Toms was riding well and made good progress to qualify for a fifth-row start to the short Sprint race. He got a clean start and was soon up to 11th and challenging for a place within the top 10. On the second lap, a rider ahead retired and this gifted 10th place to Toms, who then began to edge nearer to Dean Harrison who was circulating in ninth position just a few yards ahead. But on lap seven, he pushed a little too hard and crashed out of the race at turn four, his race over.

鈥淛orel聽Boerboom started the race from the middle of the eighth row and began to pick up places, but he then suffered the same fate as his teammate when he tangled with another rider and crashed at turn two on lap three.

鈥淭he riders regrouped on Sunday for the 14-lap Feature Race, where TJ Toms started from the head of row four. He again got away to a good start and soon became embroiled in a race-long battle for position. He held 10th place for the first six laps before passing Harry Truelove for ninth place. Both were fighting for position within a four-rider group and places were exchanged within the group on every lap. As the race wore on, Toms held eighth, ninth and 10th place at some stage but on the final lap, was overtaken by Truelove and pushed down to cross the finish line in 11th position.”

鈥淢eanwhile, Boerboom started the Feature Race from row 10 and immediately pushed forward, picking off riders on every lap until on lap 12 he passed Cameron Dawson for 18th place and on the final lap he fought off the attention of Corey Tinker to cross the finish line just 0.011s ahead in 18th position.鈥

Team Manager, Tom Fisher: 鈥淲ell, that was a mixed bag of results on a sweltering hot weekend here at Snetterton. TJ was pushing hard in the first race and doing well but then found his limit and that was that. But he made up for it in the second race having a great battle for eighth place and was the first Kawasaki over the finish line. Jorel was unlucky to get tangled in the first race and he too crashed. But he got his head down in race two and put in a lot of effort to come away with 18th place. I have to thank the team聽for their efforts in preparing the bikes after the crashes on Saturday, they did a sterling job to get both bikes up and running well for Sunday. Thanks also to our loyal sponsors and supporters for their input over the weekend.鈥

The EBC-equipped team is supporting two riders in the British Supersport Championship

The G&S Racing Kawasaki motorcycle race team is once again campaigning in another season of BSB鈥檚 British Supersport Championship with two riders: TJ Toms and Jorel Boerboom.

The team will once again use 91传媒 Racing鈥檚 GPFAX track/race brake pads and X-Series floating discs on their Kawasaki race bikes 鈥 a formula that has helped them secure solid points in previous years.

You can hear how the latest round at Derbyshire鈥檚 Donington Park went in their own words below鈥

鈥淭he two G&S Racing Kawasaki riders, TJ Toms and Jorel Boerboom, both completed their two races at Donington Park at the weekend; TJ Toms with two top-10 results and Boerboom with two top-20s in round two of the 2025 British Supersport Championship.

鈥淎fter completing qualifying, TJ Toms started the first race from the middle of the fourth row and when the lights went out, he got away to a good start, running in 11th place for the first six laps before moving up to ninth on lap nine. He gradually reeled in Lee Johnston who was some way ahead and finally got past him on the penultimate lap and took the chequered flag for a strong eighth place.

鈥淢eanwhile, Jorel Boerboom started the race from the head of row nine and was quick to move forward, picking off riders on every lap until lap 11 of 12, when he secured 18th place and finished his first race of the season just outside the points.

鈥淟ining up for the longer Feature race on Sunday, Toms set off from the head of row four, holding ninth position for first few laps and hovering on the back of the leading group. He briefly held eighth position after passing Eugene McManus, but McManus retook his position leaving Toms to continue in a lonely ninth place. As the race wore on, he began to lose touch with the leaders when his tyre went off and crossed the finish line in ninth with a 10s advantage over the rest of the field.

鈥淛orel Boerboom started the Feature race from the eighth row and was in the midst of the action in the opening laps. He exchanged places with the riders around him on a few occasions and eventually settled into 19th place mid race distance. He continued in a comfortable 19th position to pick up his second top-20 result over the weekend.”

Team manager Tom Fisher:

鈥淚 am really pleased with both riders鈥 performance this weekend. TJ rode extremely well, throughout free practice, qualifying and two races he has never been out of the top 10 and with an eighth and ninth to add to his 10th place at Oulton in the previous round he is lying eighth in the rider standings.

鈥淛orel didn’t race at Oulton as he was outside the qualifying maxima. So, in reality, his season started at Donington Park. But he rode well and finished both his races here at Donington within the top 20. I must thank all our sponsors for their continued support and also the team who have worked so hard again this weekend to keep the bikes on track.鈥

鈥淭he series takes a break now to allow for the Isle of Man TT races and we will reconvene at Snetterton over the weekend of June 20/22.鈥

The outfit will once again support two riders in the British Supersport Championship

The G&S Racing Kawasaki motorcycle race team is gearing up for another season in BSB鈥檚 British Supersport Championship, once again relying on 91传媒 Racing braking components on their duo of bikes.

Ahead of the series opener, the team has announced a reshuffle of its riders, in an aim to obtain as many points as possible throughout the year.

The team will once again use 91传媒 Racing鈥檚 GPFAX track/race brake pads and X-Series floating discs on their Kawasaki race bikes 鈥 a formula that has helped them secure solid points in previous years.

You can hear the announcement in their own words below.

鈥淕&S Racing Kawasaki have announced their 2025 Quattro Group British Supersport Championship lineup as TJ Toms joins Jorel Boerboom ahead of next season.

Toms said:聽鈥淚 am extremely grateful to Mark, Tom, the whole G&S team and everyone at Kawasaki UK for this opportunity in 2025. Last year proved to be a challenge but with the success that we previously had on the ZX-636, I am going into the new season with confidence both as a rider and with my team.鈥

Team Manager Tom Fisher commented: 鈥淲e as a team are delighted to have TJ back with us once again. We hope to hit the ground running and it鈥檚 great to have the backing from Kawasaki UK. The outfit currently supports two riders in the British Supersport Championship

The G&S Racing Kawasaki race team is assisting two riders across BSB鈥檚 British Supersport Championship throughout 2024.

Jorel Boerboom and Asher Durham both entrust 91传媒 Racing鈥檚 GPFAX track/race brake pads and X-Series floating discs on their Kawasaki race bikes.

A demanding season finale at Kent鈥檚 Brands Hatch posed many challenges for the team, who battled through to end the season on a high.

Read how it panned out in the team鈥檚 own words below鈥

鈥淭he G&S Racing Kawasaki team ended their first season in the British Supersport Championship with Asher Durham bringing points back to the team at Brands Hatch in the season finale.

鈥淎fter a strong qualifying session, the two riders Asher Durham and Jorel Boerboom lined up for the start of the short Sprint race on Saturday in damp conditions. Tyre choice came into play when, just as the race started the rain began to fall. The race was delayed to allow for riders to change tyres but many, including the two G&S riders opted to stick with their original choice of slicks. But it turned out to be the wrong choice as the rain grew steadily worse and they were forced to retire.

鈥淔or the Feature race on Sunday, Durham was placed on Row 11 and Boerboom on Row eight with a lot of work to do to get up into a point-scoring position. Boerboom did make it up into 14th place in the early laps and was battling within a large group of riders for position. But eventually he dropped to the back of the group and crossed the finish line in 19th place.”

鈥淢eanwhile, Asher Durham made his way forward in the early laps and he too became embroiled in the same group as his teammate who he passed at the half-way stage of the 16-lap affair. He was battling with championship contenders Alistair Seeley and Ben Currie for position and eventually passed both of them to complete the race in 15th place to pick up two championship points.

鈥淎sher Durham ends his first season in the Supersport class in 16th place on 56 points with a best result of third at Snetterton while Jorel Boerboom was 30th on 23 points with a best finish of sixth at Snetterton.

鈥淭eam manager, Tom Fisher: 鈥淎ll in all, our first year at this high level of competition has had its ups and downs but we have scored points and progressed through the season. This weekend was difficult as we gambled on the weather conditions. But we were not the only ones, half of the grid made the same choice and only 16 of 37 finished the Sprint race. The second race saw both our riders fighting for position alongside some of the championship contenders. Asher brought the bike home in the points and Jorel was not that far away. We have to thank our loyal sponsors for their support throughout this season; we couldn’t compete at this level without their input.鈥欌
